My grandma and I have a psychic connection - or - Goals in progress

I'm not in the habit of making New Year's resolutions, but I do have some goals for the year.

Finish unfinished crochet projects, which includes frogging half completed projects that I have no intention of finishing.

De-clutter.

Repurpose.

That pretty much covers it. So I cleaned out the yarn stash and reduced it by about 25%. I donated all of that to Squallis Puppeteers (so their site isn't really up to date, but they're good folks.)
I cleaned out a couple of closets and donated that to a thrift shop. While there, I found 4 hanks of 100% virgin wool yarn with no price, so I asked the cashier for a price. She looked around and said, "tweny nine cent." I really feel like I stole this yarn.

The colors are more muted than they look here, since I never have a chance to photograph things in natural light. I guess I should add that to my list of goals for the year.

Photograph things in natural light.

In the spirit of finished things, I made and sold this scarf.

It's the first thing that I've ever sold, and it's encouraged me to scheme about possibly selling some things around town this fall. I'm still brainstorming on that one.

As far as psychic connections... I called my grandma a couple of weeks ago so I could spend the day there, and she said, "How did you know that I just made a batch of fried apples?!" (which are my favorite!) I called her again today to drop something off to her, and she said, "How did you know that I just made a pot of chili?!" Who knows what the next one will be. She's so awesome, my grandma is. I would not trade anything in the world for the time I lived with her or the relationship we have now. Add that one to the list too.

Spend more time with Grandma.
